About the Book

Small Square, 7×7 in, 18×18 cm

During the late 1990s Ian Macrae and Andrea Way made a decision to wind down their hectic work life, put their film production company on hold and pursue their dream: to live in Italy for a year. This book contains a series of emails which were sent in 2000 and 2001 as a regular newsletter, to their friends back home in Melbourne and around the world, keeping in contact and filling them in with their adventures. Photographs were taken by Ian and Andrea wrote the text.
